February 2009 — "This just isn't one of the best bookstores in Victoria, but one of the best bookstores in Canada! With small independent book shops in rapid decline in the country, this little store is a gem. You can get all your favourite top sellers here of course, but there is an excellent selection of books that you may not find at Chapters, for example. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a book shop: a lot of wood, with substantial shelves holding an assortment of books. There's a particularly good selection in their spiritual book section. The people who work here are passionate about books and are excellent at helping you track down a special book or recommend a book you may not have heard of. Even if you are not in the market for a new book, this store is fun for just browsing."
