November 2008 — "Edelweiss has a great selection of German and European products. Find a large assortment of food items, including chocolates and specialty items, home decor, kitchenware, bath and beauty products, and so much more. They also have a deli and restaurant on-site serving authentic German fare, including sauerkraut, schnitzel, sausages, potato salad, strudel and more. I tried the apple strudel, which was served slightly warm, very tasty! Edelweiss is the perfect spot to get your German fix in Calgary!"

"Lots of great stuff"

October 2008 — "I live nearby and go regularly for their excellent breads and baked goods. Now is the time to visit if you want to find unique, handmade and imported goods from several European countries, all in time for x-mas. All you need is lots of time, a large wallet (but it's worth it as far as quality is concerned) and a long list of deserving people in your life.
The only little beef I have is that the ready-made food and snacks are overpriced, but if you don't mind that, it's a great place to have cake, coffee or a home-made lunch.
Great atmosphere and helpful staff - it has anything and everything you can think of from music CDs to hats, to cards to beautiful kitchen ware.
I wish I was a millionaire."

"Interesting Merchandise"

May 2008 — "Edelweiss Imports is a great store, deli and cafe. I love visiting this store and just browsing through all their imported merchandise and looking at the elaborate bakery items. In the store they have imported candies, tea, dishes, clocks and much more. Their cafe is a nice spot to have lunch. I really like the cabbage rolls and scalloped potatoes. It can be hard to get a spot to sit in the cafe, because it gets so busy.
The only thing I would change about Edelweiss is their hours. They're not open on Sundays, which is a shame because it's a place that would make a good Sunday outing."
