"Push Products too much"

July 2010 — "I cannot stand it when staff push products such as hair products, gel nails or make overs on you. Especially when you are already paying $50.00 for a hair cut.
I'm not complaining about the hair cut I got, because it was great, however I don't like it when I go up to the till and all the products were waiting there. I never said I would get them, so why assume I'm going to pay for them?
I think I will go and try Chatters next time around."

April 2010 — "I have been going to the Eveline Charles South Edmonton commons branch since they opened for my facials and haircuts. I have always been happy with their quality of service which is why I am loyal.
However, I am not impressed by the reception ladies at the front. Twice now, they have proven to have an attitude..no smile when they greet a customer and no thank you at the end of the transaction...instead they are rather abrupt and sour. Ultimately, coming out feeling great at the end of your spa treatment, only to have your mood ruined by a rude ''teller'' in my opinion, taints the whole experience."

"Eveline Charles - A first-class salon"

March 2009 — "I have been getting my haircut at Eveline Charles ever since they opened. First by Eveline at Hair Focus and then at Bianco Nero ( before she renamed her salons to Eveline Charles) and I have always had the BEST haircuts and colours. The staff are so incredibly trained and professional. I would never go anywhere else. "

August 2008 — "I'm surprised to see these other reviews on here. I have been getting my hair cut at Eveline Charles for the past 8 years, and it's always an excellent experience. I guess it just goes to show that people only bother to say something when they have a complaint. The staff is always very friendly and I think the stylists are the most professional and the best trained in the city. I wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else.

"excuses, excuses- unprofessional customer service"

August 2007 — "Receiving a phone call at 9:05 (after leaving home - just about downtown) to say the 9:30 AM appt that was booked a number of days ago was double booked and would a later appt work? ( no choice here). A good discount woiuld be in order for having to wait around downtown for a couple of hours. Eveline Charles didn't offer one - just booked an appt. for 11:30. When asked to give a discount the spa said 20% would be the max. Appointment cancelled - hours wasted. Very unprofessional on their part."
