July 2011 — "The shopping was generally as pleasant as shopping usually is except for the occasional interruption of the musak to make announcements in a volume much louder than the background musak in a number of different languages. I found this to be very obnoxious and annoying, even though I am half deaf. I can't imagine how annoying this could be to people with normal hearing. A store clerk noted that they begin at 7AM at such a volume that they tend to "jump out of their skin". I did not have the opportunity to speak to their Japanese or Hispanic guests, but I would think that they also would appreciate a lowering of the volume."
