November 2010 — "This place hasn't gotten a review in awhile and I daresay one is overdue!
With new locations opening up service seems much improved. I've always had good experience with the staff, though customers tend to walk in as though they expect to have to fight other customers to get what they want.
The reason selection is often poor is because these cupcakes are SO GOOD that they disappear faster than the staff can bake them! The icing is incredible. The cake is good too, but the icing makes it worth it, and they're generous with it! As a general rule I don't even like icing and I LOVE Crave!
Your best bet to guarantee what you want is just to call an order in advance. I've found that email is the fastest as they can be hard to reach by phone, but they did still follow up and were nothing short of friendly and very helpful."

"Not A First Timers Place"

January 2009 — "Although the cupcakes are tasty, they don't have a variety of choices. The few choices they do have go very quickly, so you have to get there early. The customer service is terrible partly due to how busy they are. It's a place for returning customers who know what they want and can get in and out quick but for those who are just going for the first time it's not a fun experience. My suggestion is to go with a friend whose been there before. "

September 2008 — "I guess for a generation that seems to have lost the art of cooking and baking and to whom "homemade" is something that comes out of a mix box, Crave would seem like the nirvana of cupcakes, but if you have any sort of skill in the kitchen at all, Crave cupcakes are just OK. They were a bit dry, and after all the hype I had heard I was disappointed.
If you can follow a recipe, don't bother spending all that money!"

April 2008 — "Crave does make very good cupcakes, however it is rather difficult to get a hold of. Try to go fairly early in the day because they seem to run out pretty quickly. Every time that I have gone after about 3 PM they have been closing the doors because they don't have any cupcakes left for the day."

February 2008 — "I love Crave cupcakes for a treat. My favourite is the Crave-O-Licious cupcake. It's topped with blue buttercream icing and chocolate shavings. It's so good. I recommend the mini cupcakes for a treat or dessert. The normal sized cupcakes are good, but the icing can be overpowering because it's piled on so thick. The icing on the mini cupcakes is easier to handle, plus you can try a variety of flavours without feeling like you've over done it."

January 2008 — "The cupcakes are good. I absolutely had horrible service. I had placed an order via internet giving sufficient time 3 days before the our event. I had an email confirming the order...so I believed all was well. The day of the event I called ahead to ensure my pick up time would be met. I had them tell me there was no order, they checked their orders over and over and nothing. I told them I recieved the confirmation and would be happy to forward via email to prove my order. To which the girl on the other end in a very rude snotty tone says "how can we fill your order when we don't have it!". Ok blood is boiling at this point, I told them it's not my fault your ordering system does not work, another lady grabbed the phone and asked what was the order. I told her, she said they had enough on hand to make it....phew!!!! Do not order on line! This was a corporate event and speaking with the other assistants they have all had problems much like mine!"

July 2007 — "Yes, whether the cupcake is made from scratch or not, this place has cupcakes that taste good. So, if you are willing to shell out the $3 for just one of them, then go ahead. But a warning for all you brides to be or corporate assistants that are looking to place an order that is going to put you over budget.... JUST SAY NO! The service is absolutely atrocious at this place. From the first e-mail, to the consultation to the pick up of the cup cakes it was all wrong and I have heard this from many other tearful brides as well. Listen to your head, not your stomach on this one, cause all you will end up with is a headache at the end if you decide to go with CRAVE!!! "

March 2007 — "Crave Cookies & Cupcakes are unbelievable, betty crocker doesn't seem to do it for me anymore after tasting these cupcakes. If you are going to go on the weekend you better head out early. I have not seen a day were there is not a line up. Let me tell you though the wait is worth it. "
