October 2008 — "Best Buy advertises how their sales associates are not on commission and after shopping there I wish they were. Then they might try to make a sale. I went to Best Buy to buy a new laptop. There was one HP laptop in particular I was interested in and wanted to learn more about it. We waited and waited for someone to help us. After about 20 minutes or so we found someone that we thought could help us. I asked the sales guy what he could tell us about the computer. He told me that it "was pretty much what you see." Very helpful, indeed.... I also went to that same location (Northland) to buy a photo printer. Again we waited a long time for someone to help us. Once we found a sales guy to help all he did was read off the little description that was written below the price of the product. Some background information on the product would have been helpful, but again that didn't happen. I like the selection of products that Best Buy offers, but their sales people need to work on learning more about the store's products so they have something to share with the customer. Also, they need to be more pro-active on assisting customers. "
