June 2009 — "I first visited Bowcycle a month ago, and found the salesperson to be excellent. Service since then, however, has been very unimpressive. I have had to be in for servicing on my bike 3 times (city riding only); and am still experiencing the same problems. Bowcycle has not responded to my emails, and service techs generally seem like they could care less about the difficulties that I am having. Having spent as much as I did, purchasing what should have been a quality product, I am very upset at the service (or lack thereof) that I have been receiving."
Management Response:
"We received Tim complaint July 16th and it was forwarded to the manager of the service department on the 17th. The manager replied to Tim with the following.
"Tim,
Thanks for taking the time to communicate with us regarding your experience at Bow Cycle. I can understand your frustration with a noisy bike. At the same time noisy bikes take time to diagnose and correct. We shoud have test ridden the bike after we installed the new pedals to determine if this was the cause of the noise. If not the cause, we should have continued to look further into the bike to see what is making the sound.
If you can bring the bike into me, I would be happy to look at it and see if we can find out what is making the noise. I may not be able to deal with it in a very short time frame but will definately do my best. Worst case scenario I may need the bike for a day or two to try a few things and test ride it."
To date, Tim has contacted u to take us up on this offer."
