March 2010 — "I live quite close to this mall, so find myself here semi-regularly. It is really convenient to stop by for a quick check of one of their anchor stores - usually Winners or Kazc's Kids - if there is something I need.
For the rest of the mall, I find I have the best success if I am not looking for something specific. It is a little weak in the women's clothing department, but I almost always come away with something useful at a good price. It seems to be better for accessories, shoes, housewares and seasonal items.
I also like that the mall really puts extra effort into holding events as well. In the spring/summer, they often have a mini-carnival (complete with rides and games), antique car shows or drive-in movies in the parking lot. "

"Blessing in disguise"Monica
July 2009 — "Deerfoot Mall was a big surprise! I was visiting from Vegas for the week to attend a wedding, of course my baggage was delayed from my flight and I needed to find something fast. The baggage claim agent said Deerfoot was the closest mall in the area. I ended up finding a replacement wedding gift from Benix and shoes for the wedding at Sterling. As I shopped and visited Mexx, Liz Claiborne and Winners I ended up with more clothes for less money than when I shop at the outlet malls back home. My delayed bag was a blessing in disguise! On top of it all while I was there I noticed signs for a drive in movie theatre the mall was putting on that week, so me and my girlfriend came back shopped some more and watched Grease in her car in the malls parking lot! "

"Best Mall Ever"

January 2009 — "Deerfoot Mall is a wonderful mall to visit. It has all the essentials, plus with discount prices. The staff in the mall were friendlier than I have ever experienced, but at the same time they are not too pushy. Virgin Mobile impressed me beyond belief. The people that were working at the time were attentive and informative without being too pushy.
I would recommend Deerfoot Mall for anyone looking for great bargains. "

"Good for airport time-killing"

June 2008 — "I probably wouldn't choose this mall if I was intent on an afternoon of clothes shopping (it's a bit small and has limited choices) but it served a good purpose recently when I was meeting visitors at the airport and found the flight was delayed for almost two hours - too long to just hang about the airport but not long enough to really go elsewhere in Calgary. That's where the Deerfoot Mall came in - it's an easy jaunt from the airport and, without having to go across the city, I was able to find a few summer items at Mexx, Aldo and Urban Hertiage and still had plenty of time to get meet the flight!"
